Family time

Penny had a little "vacation" last week at Grammy and Grampy's house...and yes, Jason and I had a little "vacation" too!! We're getting ready for our big Florida trip, so we wanted Penny to get used to sleeping in places other than her crib at home. And as usual, our perfect baby did great. No problems at all - she slept just like she was at home.

Grammy did lots and lots with Pen, including her first dress up party! Isn't our little princess adorable?? I think you'll be seeing those wings again at Halloween.

Penny also went to visit her Great-Grammy at Monmouth Crossing, and of course she was a big hit. Great-Grammy doesn't remember many of her family members anymore, but she did remember Penny. She didn't remember her name, but the day after Penny's visit, Grammy asked her aid, "is that baby going to come again?". Penny really has such a positive impact on people, and we were so happy she could make Great-Grammy happy that afternoon.

And of course Grampy loved having Penny visit - he took her for walks, and enjoyed her adorable giggle-fests!

Soon-to-be Auntie Xao LOVED having Penny around - she's the best bottle feeder! I think Penny loved being in Auntie Xao's arms too :)

And even though they aren't in the pictures, Penny spent time with Uncle Mike, Grammy, Uncle Robby, Nana, and Angela (Nana's aid). She's such a hit, everyone wanted a piece of her!

All in all, it was a great trip for our little angel. Penny is such a lucky little girl to have such a wonderful family who loves her as much as she loves them. And Jason and I are even luckier to have a Mom who wants to take Penny for sleepovers and give us some much needed non-baby time. Thanks, Mom!! Love you!

You got a vacation from the kids? What's that like?!? I'm sooo jealous.

She's got great cheeks, I just want to reach out and squeeze them!
